A small memorial to a young girl, but really a woman, who the world may not know, but I do.

I will be using the knowledge I knew of her yesterday, and not what I learned today.

Amelia of Italy: ??? - November 18, 2009

Amelia, I met you merely months ago, but barely spent more than a day in total just chatting with you casually. I had smiled when you first appeared before me, whereas I had heard little about you and curiosity got the better of me. Delightfully you exchanged greetings and introductions with me. It wasn't long until I realized you were my perfect idea of a person, or at least nearly. Like a child, I looked up to you and followed your wise self and smiled. Almost even ten minutes within speaking with you I had known you were much older and more mature than I; your talents and beauty blew me away in all sorts. I find it a shame I never had the chance to praise you for all you were worth personally, so I am doing my best here, trying to sound better in voice, just like you were. I just hoped often that you would not think little of me, and maybe, just maybe, even be a little impressed. You had my immediate respect, just from the way you spoke. Simply amazing, you were.

Because of you, my life was shown something great and eagerly tried to grasp for it.
Because of you, the monsters diminished into the darkness and stopped keeping me afraid and awake.
Because of you, I knew someone else on this planet.

Honestly, Amelia, or more fondly known as Lia, although you may not miss me, I miss you. I also hope you enjoyed your days here, and with us; our small family has seen a great difference after hearing the news. Your absence will not forever be mourned, but you will never be forgotten.

Miss Amelia of Italy, you are dearly loved and missed.
